Einstein on Fighting for Peace

One of my heroes on peace:
I am not only a pacifist but a militant pacifist. I am willing to fight for peace. Nothing will end war unless the people themselves refuse to go to war.
Seems strange to me and I'm not sure fighting is the way to get peace, but it's nice to remind myself that smarter men than I have believed peace to be crucial.
